Doors. Internal door = £45 for the first door then £35 for each subsequent door. There is an extra charge of £5 per door, if you wish us to dispose of your old door(s). Internal Door Lining + Architrave + Door = £120 There is an extra charge of £5 per door, if you wish us to dispose of your old door(s). External timber door = £90 this includes the cutting for a letter box and one Yale type night latch, any additional hardware required will be estimated for. There is an extra charge of £5 per door, if you wish us to dispose of your old door(s). Architrave = £14 per set (normally two sets per door).
Skirting Skirting is priced @ £4 per meter + £3 per scribe/mitre or return. Skirting is scribed to the floor where needed, screwed to the wall, screw holes filled ready for painting. If you are leaving your skirting a natural wood finish then screw wholes can be plugged for an additional charge of £1 per meter. Your average square12’ x 12’ room with a chimney breast to skirt around plus 2 returns at the door frame would cost approx £90.
Flooring The labour charge for flooring is priced per square meter. Additional costs include £2 per meter to fix trim. £10 to adjust the bottom of a door, per door (it is not always necessary to adjust the bottom of doors). £20 for removal of old flooring.
Laminate flooring = £7 m²
Engineered wood = £15 m²
Please note all manufacturer recommended acclimatization procedures must be adhered to before fitting. If you want your new flooring under your skirting, your old skirting will have to be removed. Please see skirting prices above. Therefore your average 12’x12’ room = 16m² + 15m of trim and one door to adjust will cost approx £152 (laminate)
Locks Yale style night latch = £40.
Mortice style locks = £55.
All other works are by estimate only.
All work carried out to a high standard. Where needed floor and furniture protection is used. Upon finishing all mess will be cleaned up and hoovered where needed.
All above prices are for labour only and do not include materials. You are welcome to supply the materials yourself. Estimates/quotations are free of charge. You will receive a written estimate/quote by post. This will be the price you pay, it will detail labour costs and any material costs. A deposit equivalent to the material costs will be required upon delivery of the materials to your premises before work can commence. I accept cheques made payable to ACACIA CARPENTRY. You may also pay by credit/debit card, at no extra cost, securely via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account, just an email address to use this system.
